Bluecoins has integrated a couple of the major file server provider today to provide backup and sync support for it’s user’s app data, namely Dropbox and Google Drive.

Both Dropbox and Google Drive provides the same functionality, and Bluecoins employs the same ease of use and simplicity that it is known for in utilizing each of this services. A few comparison between the two:

  • Dropbox– the original backup and sync provider of Bluecoins since its inception.  In our testing, although not significant, it has a slight edge in speed and stability when downloading and uploading data. Also, if your phone have issues utilizing the Google Drive API (latest Goole play services is required), Dopbox is a great alternative.
  • Google Drive– was introduced starting in version 34. Google Drive is Google’s standard file hosting service. For users who wants to live within the Google ecosystem of web services, and does not want to use a 3rd party, this one is for you.
